• Account Information: Username, email address, date of birth (to verify you are at least 15 years old), profile photo, and bio.
• Connection Data: IP address, session ID, device type, operating system, and app version.
• Location Data: GPS location for shot tracking features, finding nearby golfers, and displaying relevant golf courses. Location sharing is optional and can be disabled in settings.
• Golf Data: Scorecards, shot tracking data, handicap, statistics, golf bag contents, and courses played.
• User-Generated Content: Posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, and event participations.
• AI Interaction Data: Conversations with the AI assistant and AI coach, including questions asked and personalized recommendations.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• Provide Our Services: Enable account creation, social networking features, scorekeeping, GPS shot tracking, and AI coaching.
• Improve Our Services: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features, fix bugs, and develop new functionalities.
• Personalize Your Experience: Provide personalized AI coaching, training programs, and content recommendations based on your golf data.
• Communicate With You: Send account notifications, updates, and respond to support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We share your data with the following third parties:

• Firebase (Google): Analytics, push notifications, and app performance monitoring. Data may be transferred to the USA under Google's data protection framework.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing for Premium features. RevenueCat processes payment data securely.
• Apple App Store & Google Play: Payment processing for Premium subscriptions is handled directly by Apple and Google.
• AI Services: Your conversations with our AI assistant may be processed by AI service providers to generate responses. We do not share personal identification data with AI providers.

4. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: Request a copy of your personal data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Scorecards and golf statistics are kept to maintain your playing history. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States through our service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat). These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Children's Privacy

FlyAway is intended for users aged 15 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 15. If you believe a child under 15 has created an account, please contact us immediately.

9. Cookies

Our mobile app does not use cookies. Our website may use essential cookies for functionality. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of FlyAway after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
